Nana Akufo-Addo
NPP Flagbearer, Nana Akufo-Addo has ended his four day tour of the Bono Ahafo region.

Nana Addo as part of his Restoration of Hope tour visited various towns and villages in the Asunafo South constituency.

He has promised to improve production of maize for the people of the region if elected.

His spokesperson Hamid Mustapha says Nana Addo’s focus is to improve other sectors of agriculture to give it same leverage as cocoa production.

“Apart from having a cocoa marketing board, we are also doing special interventions like mass cocoa spraying exercise, we are guarantying cocoa stable prices for their produce; we are constructing roads to cocoa growing areas; we have scholarships for children of cocoa farmer etc, if we are doing these things consciously for the cocoa industry which is allowing the industry to grow then it is important that if we do these same intervention measures for other crops, then these crops will also get the opportunity to grow and add up to agriculture production,” he said.
