The leadership of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana has interdicted one of its Ministers, Reverend Kingsford Kusi-Kyere alleged to have engaged in homosexual acts.
This follows reports from seven young men (workers on the Church’s farm) who accused Rev. Kusi-Kyere (farm manager) for allegedly forcing them into the act.
Although Reverend Kusi-Kyere has denied the allegations, the acting Public Relations Officer of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PRO) of the Church, Reverend George Adjei in an interview with Citi Newssaid “the Minister has been asked to proceed on leave.”
“The church has taken a decision that the minister should step aside until a final decision is taken as to the final outcome of whatever the police are doing” he said.
He added that “he is no longer the manager of the Agric station and he is also not in charge of any congregation.”
