One of the enterprising Ghanaian movie icons, Michael Osei Kwame, who has featured in a number of movies, has said that his presence in the Ghana movie industry had given him the opportunity to use talent to educate his fans including the youth about the teachings of Christ Jesus.
He told BEATWAVES in a chat that although he is a movie star, he had decided to use some of his earnings to support the needy children in society to show appreciation for what God has done and continues to do for him.
Michael Osei, who is a life-patron for Youth For Christ, a Kumasi-based youth movement, is out to do more than just entertain; he wants to make a difference in the lives of the youth that he meets.
The movie icon always talk about the faithfulness of God and the reason why Christians should give thanks to God as long as they live on this earth, and also sacrifice for one another.
He encouraged parents to be hardworking and take good care of their children, since the children remained their only hope and future security.
Micheal Osei Kwame, who was born in 1980, joined the movie industry in 1999 and featured in over 65 hot movies.
He has visited a number of countries in Europe and America where he promoted Ghanaian movies to the outside world.
The actor, who has been acting in ‘Twi Movies’ since 1999, told BEATWAVES that his main aim was to reach the top of the ladder, adding that it was his dream to make it to the international movie market.
