Fire
The IT department of the Electoral Commission of Ghana has been gutted by fire.
The incident which occurred on Friday was brought under control by staff of the IT department, who managed to quell the fire with fire extinguishers at the office.
It is not clear what might have caused the fire, but reports indicate that some computers at the department were affected by the fire.
It is however, not known if evidence to be used by the EC to defend itself in the election petition case currently before the Supreme Court has also been affected by the fire.
