Job Description

Atlas Copco Portable: Energy Business Line Manager.

We are looking for a self-driven Business Line Manager will be responsible for:

• The Profit & Loss statement of the Division
• Promoting the product range which includes lighting towers, pumps, portable compressors and generators in Ghana, Sierra Leone and Liberia
• Maintaining existing and identifying new business opportunities in these markets
• Developing and using the appropriate resources to implement territory management
• Developing in a structured manner, growth strategies for the 5 pillars of the Division

Mission:

• The successful candidate will be tasked with developing and growing the Portable business in Ghana, Sierra  Leone and Liberia in accordance with divisional objectives, including the implementation of short and long term business development plans as approved by the General Manager.

Required Skills or Experience

Experience requirements:

• Experienced professional with proven track record in sales and marketing of industrial equipment
• 3 years experience in a managerial position
• Ability to form, lead and motivate a strong team towards achieving ambitious targets
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers at all levels

Knowledge:

• Computer literate (Lotus Notes, Microsoft, etc)
• Good working knowledge of portable compressors and generators
• Good knowledge & understanding of the construction and mining sectors would be an important asset

Educational requirements:

• University degree in Engineering or similar through experience

Personality requirements:

• Result oriented, team leader & player, good planning & organizing skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Dynamic and flexible
• Able to build strong & effective working relations
