John Kumah
NPP’s Communications Team member,John Kumah has been granted bail by the Eoconimic and Organized Crime Office(EOCO).
His lawyer, Atta Achia confirmed his client’s release but stated that “he has been asked to report on Monday, October 8.”
Speaking on the Citi EyeWitness News, Mr. Achia explained that EOCO has charged John Kumah with falsification of some bank guarantees, “he has given a statement on all the issues raised but I can’t tell how far this will go.”
He also mentioned that that it is possible his client will be hauled before the law courts but was quick to add that “we have a strong case and we are sure to win. Whatever happens, we will be up to the task.”
Mr. Kumah was arrested by EOCO on Wednesday over fraud charges.
