The Electoral Commission will this Friday afternoon issue a final certificate to the National Democratic Party (NDP) to officially contest this year’s elections.
The party which was formed this year has been operating with a provisional certificate.
Speaking to Citi News , the General Secretary of the NDP, Dr. Joseph Manboa-Rockson said the party will now focus on its congress and campaign launch.
“The EC called me personally to inform me that our certificate is ready for collection at 12 pm, so if we collect this certificate the next step is to put in place the necessary procedures to get all our parliamentary candidates to come out with strategies towards our launching and the congress at the end of the month, and to firm a presidential candidate for the 2012 elections,” he said.
